On a beautiful spring day in Copenhagen, surrounded by the people they love most — just twenty or so of their closest family and friends — Timea and Stefan said yes to each other. And it was, in the most tender and honest way, absolutely perfect.
The Morning — Copenhagen in Bloom
Spring in Copenhagen is something entirely its own. The city shakes off the last of the Nordic winter slowly, then all at once — and when it does, it is breathtaking. Cherry blossoms line the canals. The light turns soft and golden and generous. The streets feel alive in a way that makes everything feel possible.
On the morning of their wedding, the city was doing exactly that — blooming. And Timea was doing the same.
There is a particular kind of stillness that settles over a bride on the morning of her wedding day. A quiet excitement. A deep, calm knowing. We were there to capture it — not just in photographs, but in film — the soft sounds of the morning, the unhurried moments, the small details that tell the full story of who she is.
The Ceremony — Copenhagen City Hall
Copenhagen's City Hall is one of those places that manages to feel both grand and deeply human at the same time. Its red brick facade, its soaring interior spaces, its sense of history — it is a building that has witnessed thousands of love stories, and it held Timea and Stefan's with quiet dignity and warmth.
The ceremony was intimate and sincere. With only their closest people gathered around them, there was nowhere to hide from the emotion of the moment — and neither of them wanted to. Stefan's expression as Timea walked toward him was one of those moments that photographs and films were made for. Pure, unguarded love.
The words they exchanged were simple and true. The room was still. And when it was over, the air felt lighter somehow — the way it always does after two people have made a promise that changes everything.

After the ceremony, we took some time to wander through the city — just Timea, Stefan, and the two of us. This is always one of our favourite parts of a wedding day. The formality of the ceremony is behind you. The celebration is still ahead. And for a little while, it is just the two of you, newly married, walking through a city dressed in spring.
Copenhagen gave us everything. The soft reflections in the canal water. The pastel-coloured facades of Nyhavn as a backdrop. The dappled shade of a tree-lined street. The way the afternoon light caught Timea's veil and turned it into something almost luminous.
These are the photographs that will hang on walls. And the film captures what photographs alone cannot — the laughter between shots, the way Stefan looked at her when he thought no one was watching, the sound of the city humming gently around them as they walked hand in hand into their first hours of married life.
The Reception — Dinner at Tivoli Gardens
If Copenhagen City Hall set the tone, Tivoli Gardens delivered the magic.
There are few places in the world quite like Tivoli — one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, and one of the most romantically beautiful. In spring, it is alive with colour and light: fresh blooms everywhere, the warm glow of its iconic lanterns beginning to illuminate as the evening draws in, the gentle sounds of music and laughter drifting through the air.
Timea and Stefan's dinner here was everything a celebration should be. Intimate enough that every guest felt close. Warm enough that the evening felt like one long, joyful embrace. The table was beautiful. The food was wonderful. And the company — twenty or so of the people who matter most to two people who have chosen each other — was simply irreplaceable.
There were toasts that made everyone laugh. And toasts that made everyone cry. There was the particular joy that comes from watching people who love each other be surrounded by people who love them too. And as the lanterns of Tivoli glowed around them and the spring evening settled gently over Copenhagen, Timea and Stefan danced.
We were there for all of it — cameras and lens and quiet presence — making sure that every single moment was held onto. Not just the grand ones. The small ones too. The way she leaned her head on his shoulder. The look they exchanged across the table when they thought no one was watching. The last dance of the night.
